The Ego Programme is a project of Ericsson in Italy established in 2004 for providing growth and development opportunities to new entrepreneurial initiatives within the communications field and its applications.

The project addresses university students and graduates with feasible ideas and innovative business proposals as well as micro enterprises in start-up, with highly innovative ideas and sustainable business projects.

Since the end of 2008 the Ego Programme has been included in the most important Corporate Responsibility projects of the Foundation.

The start-up companies of the Ego Programme have the opportunity to work for one year in a proper office area within the Ericsson Campus of Rome. They are provided with offices and IT tools throughout the period, and are allowed to use logistic, organizational and consultancy supports.

The Ego Program is an initiative established in collaboration with the most important universities: Universities of Rome LUISS Guido Carli, Sapienza, Tor Vergata, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa, Università degli studi di Siena and Università degli Studi di Trento.
