The Ego Programme is a project of Ericsson in Italy established in 2004 for providing growth and development opportunities to new entrepreneurial initiatives within the communications field and its applications.
The project addresses university students and graduates with feasible ideas and innovative business proposals as well as micro enterprises in start-up, with highly innovative ideas and sustainable business projects.
Since the end of 2008 the Ego Programme has been included in the most important CR projects of the Foundation.
The start-up companies of the Ego Programme have the opportunity to work for about 2 years in a proper office area within the Ericsson Campus of Rome. They are offered offices and IT tools throughout the period and can use logistic, organizational and consultancy supports.
The Ego Program is an initiative established in collaboration with the Italian Government institutions and the most important universities in Rome. It has in fact received the patronage of the Ministry of Communications, the Ministry for Public Administration and Innovation, the Ministry for Youth Policies and the Lazio Region. It signed cooperation agreements with the Universities of Rome LUISS Guido Carli, Sapienza, Tor Vergata, Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna di Pisa and Università degli studi di Siena.
